In yoga and the art of pottery-making, Flow and Throw combines two ancient, healing practices to help you reconnect to your breath, your body, and your self.

Hammersmith Throwing Courses

4/8 weeks throwing courses suitable for beginners & mixed ability learners 4/8 x consecutive weeks.

Learn how to centre the clay on a pottery wheel, throw cylinder shapes, make cups, bowls and vases. Use turning tools to turn a foot on the base of your pot in and add handles. Projects are self directed learn how to apply a glaze to your fired work.

Inclusive of all materials and firing costs.

Tuesday October 14th Throwing course 10-1,

Sunday October 19th Throwing course 2-5pm

Tuesday October 21st Throwing course 6-9pm

Great fun for kids and adults. During the one week course you can work on spooky projects over five consecutive days from 10-1pm or 2pm-5pm Mon-Fri in Barnes and in Hammersmith.

Projects include hand building and sculpting pumpkins, ghosts, bats, cauldrons, skeletons, coffins, spiders, plates and more.

Learn how to centre clay & throw cylinder shapes on the pottery wheel. Refine thrown forms and decorate with coloured slips.

A glazing session is 2 weeks afterwards TBA.
