This class is about the journey, nothing is kept or fired. All clay is reclaimed and recycled, making the experience fully sustainable, about letting go.

Learn how to coil and build organic shaped Vases and tableware inspired by the natural qualities of clay, a Vessels course runs on Saturdays from 10:30-1:30pm, Organic Tableware course on Thursdays 6-9pm you will be guided step by step to create natural tones & textures keeping the raw beauty of the material visible.

Shape your tableware and vessels into forms that reflect the quiet strength found in nature.

Intensive Pottery Wheel Course – Beginners & Improvers

Monday–Friday | 10:00am–1pm

Build your pottery wheel skills over five mornings in this intensive throwing course. Learn to centre clay, throw cylinders, trim leather-hard pots, pull and attach handles, carve decorative details, and assemble more complex forms.

A glazing session will be arranged approximately two weeks later, once your work has dried and been bisque fired.

All materials, tools, aprons and firing costs are included.

One week course for children Pottery Session (Ages 8+)

One week courses are running for children throughout July and August over five consecutive days Monday-Friday | 2-5pm

Pinch, coil, slab-build forms to make pots, plates and sculptural animal forms you can paint in clay.

Learn how to throw pots on the pottery wheel.

All materials are included and we will glaze your work when its fired.

Our Studio Membership gives you the freedom to create at your own pace 20 hours of studio access each week, you'll have plenty of time to work independently in our Hammersmith and Barnes studios.

Membership includes all firing and glaze costs, plus 50% off our courses to help you continue developing your skills.

As a member, you'll also enjoy exclusive opportunities throughout the year, including skill-share sessions in raku firing, candle making and printmaking, as well as Open Studio events where you can connect with fellow makers.

Members have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their ceramics during our Open Studios and at Clay Galeria in Barnes.
